Headlock Wrestling Academy is a training facility in the western suburbs of Chicago created to provide elite
instruction in Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling outside of their club or school. We train athletes of all ages who want to
learn from a coach with national as well as international wrestling experience.
Our mission is to teach not only moves and strategy, but to provide young athletes with tools they can use to achieve all of their goals in life.
During the IKWF Folkstyle season, workouts at Headlock are not meant to replace workouts at your club/school but to be additional training sessions
for those wrestlers who are willing to put in the extra time necessary to strengthen their technique and improve their match strategy. Headlock is
designed to not only enhance your strengths but work toward eliminating your weaknesses.
Post-season wrestling at Headlock concentrates on Freestyle/Greco-Roman technique and strategy and we compete as TEAM HEADLOCK (ages 5 - 20) at
local, as well as state, regional and national tournaments.
